Dr. James Rademaker
DVM/Owner
Dr. James Rademaker grew up learning from his father, Dr. Ed Rademaker, who was at Allen Veterinary Hospital for over 40 years. He looks to carry out his father’s legacy of compassion and gift for treating the pets of Fort Wayne. He graduated from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and finally started the job he had wanted since he was 6 years old. While he loves all pets, including the scaly ones, he also loves the chance to educate his clients on the reasons behind the decisions he makes in the exam room. When his wife Mary can convince him to take a vacation, he loves spending time with them visiting family across the country. While time will tell if one his three boys will become a third Dr. Rademaker, he just hopes they find a career they love as much as he does.
Dr. Helga Beck
A Fort Wayne native, Dr. Beck graduated from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She joined Allen Veterinary Hospital in 2003. Dr. Beck treats both dogs and cats but has a special interest in cats. She is also experienced in the care and special needs of shelter animals.
Dr. Robin Trammel
Dr. Trammel has been with Allen Veterinary Hospital since 2015. She enjoys surgery and helping her clients and patients in the exam room. Outside of Allen Veterinary, Dr. Trammel enjoys spending time with her 2 twin boys and her house full of pets.
